Why Slow Weight Loss Is Better Than Fast Weight Loss
Fast weight loss sounds great and who wouldn’t want to lose that extra 10 pounds quick enough for an upcoming office party? After all it is only ten pounds and what difference does it make? The truth of the matter is that weight loss can be tricky and just because the body is fooled into dropping the weight quick doesn’t mean that it will continue or not cause harm
. Losing weight too quickly can cause damage to the heart, kidneys, liver and other vital organs. This damage comes as a result of a deprivation of necessary nutrients, waters and energy.
Crash Dieting & Starvation
Crash dieting, fad dieting, and starvation as it is commonly referred to is all based on the same principles. Fast weight loss pills or other products are used to restrict the amount that a person eats, through appetite suppression. In fact, often times those pills can create such a diminished appetite that a person may not get the essential calories, nutrients or energy that is needed for the body’s daily functioning. Most people know how harmful this truly is, but they still do it anyway and here’s why: they believe that they can crash diet just to lose a few pounds and then start eating healthy again. They may very well stick to the plan and begin eating healthy after those pounds are shed, however that does not resolve the problem! When a person starves their body, for a faster weight loss, the initial few pounds are water weight.
That first 5 or 10 pounds is water, making it possible to lose that quickly, because the body is made up of 70% water! When the diet pills are stopped and they go back to normal eating that 10 pounds comes right back and sometimes leads to a larger weight gain, because the brain is sending hunger signals, to increase stores just in case the body begins starving again.
Defeating The Weight Coming Back
The best way to keep weight from coming back is to use a natural appetite suppressant, such as an herbal one. This not only keeps the individual from crash dieting, but it works the body into dieting slowly. The natural ingredients boost the body’s ability to burn fat and excess calories, not water! Water will come back because that is what the body is supposed to do; the key is to burn the fat, not lose essential water. Now some do not like this idea because they believe that it is a slow weight loss method, however that is not true! It simply keeps a person from feeling so hungry, increases the rate of the metabolism and speeds the rate at which calories are expelled from the body.
That combined with a well balance diet and exercise can truly help an individual lose the weight and keep it from coming back! Fast weight loss is not the answer, but rather a healthy diet with a good herbal dietary supplement that aids the body, in the weight loss process.
